​Drive a Senior is hosting the first annual Community Builders Celebration to honor Round Rock and Pflugerville community members who have been instrumental in advancing their communities.  Vernagene Mott ​has been instrumental in keeping the history of Pflugerville alive by co-authoring several books and speaking to various community groups.  She is a charter founder of the Heritage House Museum which promotes Pflugerville's rich heritage.  Vernagene is a pround graduate of Pflugervile High School, a retired teacher and has served on the Pflugerville ISD School Board as a trustee for over 13 years. 

Judy McLeod ​moved to Round Rock with her husband in 1973 to open the first veterinary clinic in the community.  She is a charter founder of the Williamson County Christian Women's Club, a member of the Round Rock Women's Club and has served on many boards including Williamson County United Way and YMCA as well as serving as the Executive Secretary to Congressman John Carter in his Round Rock Office.   She was instrumental in the campaign to bring the RR Express.

Our Mission

Our volunteers provide free rides for seniors to medical/health-related offices, grocery stores, barber/beauty shops, banks, activity centers, various errands, support groups and more! For some of our senior neighbors, those short trips are the only times they leave their homes each week.
